🛠️ Bulletproof Handyman Camping Convention 2025 🌲

Important Note:  This event is officially sponsored which will mean that I’ll provide the camping gear, set up the camps and equipment, do all the cooking, and take care of all of the cleanup for the first 16 ticketed guests.

Get ready for five days of (tax deductible) fellowship, storytelling, skill-sharing, and unplugged relaxation with fellow handymen, tradesmen, and DIYers in one of southern Arizona’s most scenic wilderness areas!

The Bulletproof Handyman Camping Convention returns this year to Gardener Canyon Dispersed Campsites, nestled in the cool foothills of southern Arizona. If you’ve ever wanted to connect with other handymen and women in person—away from job sites, screens, and deadlines—this is your chance.  For those of you who do not want to camp, feel free to snag a hotel locally and come visit us out at the campsite during the day!

🔧 What to Expect:

• Laid-back atmosphere: Campfires, coffee, conversations, and laughs with other folks who speak your language.

• No official schedule: Show up when you can, leave when you need to.

• No charge to attend: You just get yourself here and Jobber has graciously agreed to pay for sponsorship which means I'll be providing tents, mattresses, sleeping bags, and all other gear. I'll set up the camps, and I'll even be providing all of the meals! Fully Hosted!

• Optional skill trades: Whether it’s patching drywall or perfecting hot mud technique, everyone brings something to the table.  Attendees are asked (not required) to come up with a short class offering your best advice or demonstrations on any topic handyman business related.  I’ll bring sign up forms and we’ll all attend classes and get signed off.  These will serve as evidence of the business nature of our convention for the tax man, should he come asking.

• Family-friendly: Bring your spouse, your kids, your dog—we welcome everyone.

🏕️ Campsite Details:

• Gardener Canyon Dispersed Camping is FREE public land—no reservation required.

• Primitive sites (no running water, no bathrooms), so bring everything you need to be self-sufficient.  We’ll likely have a wilderness toilet available but you never know!  Sonoita is right down the road if you prefer to utilize public facilities.

• Cell reception may be spotty—unplug and enjoy.  I’ll have Starlink set up for the duration so that you can check your email and take care of business.

• This is Arizona, in the summer.  It will be hot.  Pack accordingly.
